Organization’s Management Structure

The organisational structure for Greenlivelihoods has the board of trustees, the executive committee (senior management) and projects management staff. The board of trustees oversees the performance of the organisation and it makes checks and balances and also provides policy direction to the senior management. The senior management monitors day-to-day operations of the organisation and accounts to the board of trustees.

 

The organisation has well trained set of development, social innovation, altenative livelihoods development, youth skilss development and food-nutrition security experts who are involved in program conceptualization, implementation and management plus reporting. The organisation does also have social experts that spearhead advocacy and policy alignment. GL has a well developed finance unit with well qualified accounts personnel. The organisation does have separate project accounts and uses an advanced financial management computer package. The organisation has well documented Constitution, Finance Manual, Human Resource Manual for its operations and a Child Protection Policy.
